Kathleen (she/her) is a Board-Certified (BCTMB) Massage Therapist who specializes in working with adults and youth living with cancer from diagnosis through the duration of the cancer journey. She has been a massage therapist for 15 years and has specialized in Oncology Massage Therapy since 2011. She is licensed in Maine and New York and has completed over 1,000 hours of continuing education, with over 300 related to Oncology Massage.
2013-2023, Kathleen worked with the Dempsey Center, a cancer support non-profit based in Lewiston, Maine. She gained extensive experience adapting massage therapy for clients in various hospital-based settings, including infusion centers, inpatient units, outpatient settings, and bone marrow transplant units. She also supported clients at end-of-life, including those in hospice care. She coordinated and then managed the oncology massage therapy, acupuncture, and Reiki programs at the Dempsey Center from 2015-2020.
